PROMOTING SPORTS AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES
| Apart from regular development of providing infrastructural facilities, TUDA is making an attempt to improve the human values in the
people, duly conducting sports and cultural activities during the last two years. The Authority has unveiled statues of great personalities in culture
and literature. The Authority had constructed a Community hall for conducting meetings for debating on literature, and cultural programs etc., It
had organized National invitation open Kabbaddi tournament twice during the last two years. It had conducted Telugu Sahithi Varostavams and
celebrated Tirupati Utsavam. The Authority had developed a Ground named Indira Maidanam on North side of TUDA office complex to conduct
sports and cultural activities. |

| This Maidanam ( ground ) is developed in an extent of 1.89 acres of land in the heart of town on the north side of TUDA office complex to meet the
Sports and cultural needs of the people with the following facilities with a total cost of Rs.31.59 lakhs.

- Gallery on two sides to sit at about 3000 people.
- Open dias of size of 60’x40’.
- Green Room,at back side of this open dias (under construction).
- Toilets for VIPs.
- Toilets for public.

This Indira Maidanam (ground) will be let out for the public and private functions
on payment of certain rent. |
